Dewey Wooden, LMHC

Dewey Wooden serves as a member of Orange Blossom Family Health (OBFH) leadership, as the Director of Behavioral Health, overseeing clinical behavioral services, outreach, and permanent supportive housing for the homeless and medically indigent of the Central Florida community. Prior to this role, Mr. Wooden served as a Clinical Manager with the (formerly) Center for Drug-Free Living and as a Clinical Director with Eckerd Youth Alternatives. Since April of 2015, he has also led OBFH’s participation in the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness’ Plan to House 100: a collaborative, Housing First initiative to house 100 of the most vulnerable, chronically homeless residents of Central Florida. Mr. Wooden has presented to the National Health Care for the Homeless Council on Integrated Behavioral Health and Primary Care. An Orlando native, Mr. Wooden earned a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. He is licensed to practice in Florida and Hawaii.
